Truck Courses
Class 1 MELT
Mandatory Entry Level Training for commercial vehicles (semi trucks).

Automatic and standard transmission training in Kenworth and Peterbilt tractor trailer units are available. We offer practical hands-on driver training for B-train and Super-B trailers and empower our students with employment skills training and Air Brake endorsement (code 15) courses. Students experience the same type of vehicle they will be using in the industry. Instructors are engaged in your driving development to ensure you receive optimal training with the newest, most relevant information and equipment. This enables our knowledge and fleet to match today’s trucking industry standards for easily translatable skills, experience, and knowledge.

We specialize in knowing every Lower Mainland road, highway, back road, intersection, and shortcut – and all their unique complexities. We know British Columbia has its own unique driving rules & regulations and we’re proud to be BC experts (ICBC standards and expectations included).
Our Instructors coach and promote independent thinking to help our trucking students develop self-evaluation skills that create responsible and safe driving attitudes, as well as confidence in everyday situations. Our training techniques make learning to operate a tractor trailer unit fun and rewarding. Through coaching, positive feedback, and the ability to simplify any maneuver into easy, achievable steps, our Instructors focus on communicating with our students, helping you make certain you’re receiving exceptional value from every lesson.
Flexible installment plans are available or pre-pay for any training. If you pre-pay and decide that you will not require the entire package we will only charge you for the training you received and we will refund the balance. We offer various training options that are flexible for any budget, all with no obligation required.
Consider starting with individual lessons and upgrade to a package to automatically receive an attractive discount. Our programs include no fuel surcharges, no GST on truck programs, no evening & weekend surcharges, and all manuals included with tuition.
Your time behind the wheel is valuable, so we offer one-on-one training giving you the Instructor’s undivided attention. Online training and group pre-trip courses supplement your on-road training saving you money. We also offer specialized corporate and fleet driver training opportunities to improve your hireable skills and qualifications. Our training has been developed to give maximum driver education at a competitive price.
Our course offers many extras at no charge (online study resources and videos, free practice tests, complimentary student handouts). No GST, no hidden fees and no charge for manuals and handouts ensure our prices are ones you can trust.
ICBC fees (approx. $135 for ICBC licensing/road test fees) and medical fees ($100-$150 for doctor’s physical) are not included in our prices .
