Recreational Vehicle (rv) Training

Class A recreational vehicle

Planning to hit the open road with your friends and family in tow for an all-Canadian RV trip? The kind and experienced staff at Valley Driving School can help! Spend some time behind the wheel of your Recreational Vehicle with a qualified Instructor to feel safe and confident while exploring beautiful British Columbia. We offer training for brand new motorhome drivers or those that need a bit of refreshing on the rules and regulations.

Whether it’s backing into tight campsites, maneuvering a larger-than-normal vehicle, or learning how to pre-trip your motorhome properly before each trip, we have Instructors who can show you what you need to know. You will develop defensive driving skills, receive practical maneuvering, and backing experience to successfully operate your RV with confidence. The skills you learn with us will contribute to becoming a more aware, focused, and safe driver in your “home away from home”!

Training is provided with a flexible schedule, as our Instructors are available during the evenings and weekends, as well as daytime! For even more flexibility, your training can be conducted at your own home or you can bring your own RV to us. Each one of our individual training sessions can be customized and tailored to your specific needs – focusing on one or two skills, or covering more ground throughout the session.

Our Instructors are fully certified, knowledgeable, and seasoned on how different vehicles maneuver and can translate their experience into growing your confidence while on the road. Valley Driving School is committed to safe driving habits and promoting these behaviours for all of the RV drivers that come through our training.

Come experience the high quality of RV Training that we have to offer, and embrace the majesty of the great outdoors with the confidence to safely drive your motorhome anywhere!
